Built in 1931 at the Fredrikshavn Shipyard in Denmark, the St. Canute sailed for many years as a tugboat and icebreaker in the Odense harbour under its original name, St. Knud. She is 28m long, 7.6m broad, draws 3.8m and is owned today by the Exeter Maritime Museum.
