Chaos Space Marines: Heldrake

A Heldrake is a scream given physical form, a silhouette of jagged brass that blots out the sun. There is a "malicious glee" in the way it hunts, its machine-spirit replaced by a daemon that hungers for the visceral thrill of the dogfight. When it dives, the air howls through its bladed wings, and by the time its shadow passes over the cowering infantry below, it has already unleashed a "slaughter" that turns the battlefield into a graveyard of molten metal and shredded flesh.

This multipart plastic kit builds one Heldrake for your Chaos Space Marines, World Eaters, Emperor's Children or Thousand Sons armies in games of Warhammer 40,000. This dragon-like construct is ideal for keeping the skies clear of enemy aircraft as it soars across the battlefield. Its warped carapace is loaded with mechanical details, from trailing cables and interlocking wing plates to exposed wiring and rivets, and features a crazed web of Chaotic patterns. The Heldrake's fanged mouth sports your choice of integrated weapon – a shell-spitting Hades autocannon, or a baleflamer for scorching foes at closer ranges.
